Kela’s Diary Ep. 1 -Dear Allurites,This is my first solo blog! I have missed you all so much and can’t wait to catch up. I hope to reconnect with all of you and tell you about what I’ve been up to.Okay, so... Confession time. It’s been a while since we’ve been on stage and truthfully, the time off has been a relief for me. We’ve done maybe hundreds (isn’t that insane?) of performances over the years and after doing this week after week, a break has been nice. I’ve been able to focus on my photography, journaling, and also getting to know myself better. We didn’t really get much time off before.To be honest, getting back on stage has been a scary thought for me. The other girls have found their niches - Gabby’s been amazing since discovering her talent for rapping and I hear Cat’s soaring to new heights in dancing - but sometimes I get a little down on myself about my vocal abilities. I stopped singing for a bit and the girls really tried to comfort me.During our hiatus, I decided to try to rediscover my love for music and singing. Why did I love it in the first place? What inspired me? I decided to do some solo traveling!
---While on my travels, I got to chat with so many Allure regulars. Thanks to everyone who chatted with me and said hi! Being told how much everyone misses us and how excited they are to see us perform really changed something in me. I realized that maybe things aren’t so bad.--Taking my journal with me everywhere I go, I started writing down a little catchy melody that I couldn’t get out of my head!Ta-ta-ta-ta-tta-ta-taI sent it over to Gab and she cut her vocals and rapped the verse. I’m currently sitting in the studio with Cat and we’re listening to it now.
I don’t know if the song will make it into the show… We’ve already booked the show in June and I think the setlist is done! Maybe I’ll share it with you sometime in another way?Can’t wait to see all of you! xoxo

Hiii, Allure! Catanya here!~It’s been nearly a year since our last blog and wow, I’ve missed chatting with all of you! As we get deeper into the year's colder months, I am already missing the warm weather! I really don’t like the cold! However, anyone who knows me knows I love a good holiday and I’m already thinking about putting up a starlight tree. (The staff is always telling me I put the tree up too early but it’s never too early to celebrate!)Anyway, the warm weather has me thinking about some of our travels during our hiatus and I’m excited to share them with you. While we were gone, I spent so much time in one of my favorite places - Kugane! I love the culture, the food, the beautiful nights, and learned a lot about the music. As the team’s resident choreographer, I love researching different styles of dance and bringing that into our performances. Hope you enjoy.~--Of course, my puppy came with me! She goes everywhere I go. (Gab’s not too happy about her tearing up things in the studio though… heh.. Think she forgives me by now?)-Here’s a little throwback pic for you also! This was me and Kela taking this same walk about 5 years ago on a shopping trip in the markets. Not much has changed but wish the girls were with me this time!Oh! In other exciting news… Guess where I’ve been spending a lot of time lately? In the LOA Dance Studio in my home! I love having a place to work on choreography. There’s even a little mini recording studio downstairs where we have meetings, record music, and remix songs. I’ll give you all a much-needed tour soon! Maybe we’ll have an LOA sleepover at my place sometime? Would you come? Let me know.How’d you spend your summer?--About to head back into rehearsals! I can’t wait to see you all soon!

It’s been far too long, Allure! It’s your favorite, Gabby, and I want to tell you all about the fun things I’ve been up to during our hiatus. Can you guess where I went?I actually got some rest!I finally got to spend some time decorating my home and catching up on some Zzz’s. When we were always doing openings, I never had any time to myself to just.. Relax.I caught up on some of my favorite shows, learned some new tricks, and most importantly - sleep! It really made me realize how much I’m always going and not practicing self-care.-I hope you’re all taking care of yourselves, eating right, and getting plenty of rest. It’s so important. As group leader, I’m always reminding the girls to take care of their health first. It always leaves me feeling so refreshed and ready to take on any challenges that are thrown my way.Before we went on hiatus, we did one of my favorite songs at an event we called “Fight Night”. It was my first time getting to do the rap parts in a performance. I told the girls that I wanted to try it before and they were super supportive about it! Now, don’t get me wrong, singing is my first love but I really like that it gives me a chance to stand out. I think it also gives me a chance to show off more personality. I loved it so much that it really became my thing now. Did you catch that performance? What a fun night!-While we’ve been away, I’ve been working on my skills and I really want to be the best I can be. I mean, I’m never one to shy away from a challenge but even I get rusty sometimes so I’m so thankful that we’re getting plenty of time to rehearse and tailor things as we want them. I’m rested and ready to go! Will you be wearing yellow along with me?Rock on,
